    1. Have an idea, and a vague sense how to do it.
    2. Try different approaches.
    3. Stubbornness, frustration, and persistence rise the more I fail.
    4. Learn what doesn’t work.
    5. Step away.
    6. Retry what didn’t work hoping for a different result — insanity.
    7. Try again.
    8. FINALLY!
