Every day it’s looking more and more like the two democrat Senators from Arizona (Kelly and Gallegos) are rubber stamps for Republicans.

As an Arizonan, it’s frustrating to see both senators ignore the will of those who voted for them.

Me when it’s time to adult.

In the gathering darkness
we shine our light.
Neighbors lighting a
path for each other.
Steady we move, afraid and unsure, but hopeful and joyful too.
Awake and aware of
pain and suffering.
Miraculously mending the fragile fabric frayed by hate.
Our actions today, build the future and set the past.

Season 2 of «Ishura» is turning out to be a really good anime. Season 1 was all over the place, with a large cast of characters that didn’t always deliver.

Season 2 is tightening the story and characters, and giving a more focused anime. Glad I stuck through the first season and seeing a better S2.

This year I’m shedding everything that doesn’t serve me.

«Promise of Wizard» — my fluff anime of the season — surprised me tonight with a bit of dialogue that felt relevant to what’s presently happening in the US.

“That’s what they’d do. First it’s fear, then confusion, then they go straight to violence.”

An epiphany I had today:

Bluesky – easy to join, harder to get into.

Fediverse – easy to join, hardest to get into.

Easy to join = Easy to sign up.

Easy/Hard to get into = Easy to find people, communities, and conversations.

I wasn’t sure I was gonna like this anime, but it had me laughing with its ridiculous humor.

I’ve been enjoying «Sorairo Utility». An anime about a girl learning to play golf.
