Ephemeral

Fleeting short posts.

  • An epiphany I had today:

Threads – easy to join, easy to get into.

Bluesky – easy to join, harder to get into.

Fediverse – easy to join, hardest to get into.

Easy/Hard to get into = Easy to find people, communities, and conversations.

  • I swear, the anime «Promise of Wizard» is just a bunch of random conversations thrown together.

I’ve found my “WTF” anime of the season. 😂

  • If you’re reporting on the immigrant experience in the US right now, and you interview Spanish speaking immigrants, please make sure you do an accurate translation.

Growing up, I watched México’s authoritarian government, led by the PRI (Institutional Revolutionary Party), rule through corruption, oppression, propaganda, and violence.

The US is the second authoritarian regime.
