Most of my posts on this platform were first posted on my website and then automatically cross posted to the Fediverse and Threads.
Since Zuck and Meta are following in Musk and xitter’s footsteps, I will no longer crosspost to Threads.
After Musk bought twitter, I left and ended up on a new platform called T2 (later renamed Pebble).
T2 was conceived as a kindness centered platform, and I was a big fan. I championed the platform and did my best to help make it a great place. Unfortunately, T2 didn’t survive.
One thing I learned is that rather than spend my time and energy building up someone else’s platform, I can use my time, energy, and resources to build up my platform (my website and blog).
Something I haven’t been very vocal about is the indie web principle of POSSE (Post On your Site, Share Everywhere).
In practice this means you have a website or blog (doesn’t have to be fancy or expensive), you post stuff on there, and then share it on other platforms.
In other words, your website is your platform, and all other platforms are just distribution channels.
The thing that’s been bugging me most about being sick this week is the brain fog. 😶🌫️
I love it when my mutuals reveal how awesome they are.
Today one of my mutuals revealed they have a PhD in Microbiology. A fact I wouldn’t have know had they not mentioned it in a reply.
It was a fun little surprise to learn that about them.
You all are far more amazing snd interesting than you realize.
Last night I dreamt that I was on a planet where time stood still. It was always the present. But around the planet time moved and sometimes it was the past and sometimes it was the future.
Then I dreamt that I was working for Diddy. 😅
I’m cold due to a fever, but then I put my hands under my neck and the body heat warms me up. 😅

Only two days into the Winter 2025 anime season, and already the standout anime for me is «Ameku M.D.: Doctor Detective».
With just two episodes it’s got me hooked!
When an anime has jazz in the soundtrack, you know it’s gonna be good.
Glad I stuck with Arifureta. Episode 10 of the second season made it all worth it. 🤣
